Mutton Clear Soup

Mutton Soup recipe is a soup made from the bones of lamb. It is a clear soup that is very delicious and tasty. The Traditional Mutton Soup in South Indian Style with mild spice flavor with Ghee. It is truly a non-veg lover’s delight, U have used Mutton pieces with bones, you can also use more of Mutton trotters to make Mutton paya soup. Health wise Mutton soup helps with Arthritis and Joint Pain. It is an Inexpensive Protein Source and Good Mineral Source. It contains Important Amino Acids and is a Good Source of Healing Fats and fights information. 

    • 1/2 kg Mutton
    • 1 star anise
    • 1 "cinnamon stick
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1/2 tsp snauf
    • 6 cloves
    • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic chopped
    • 2 onions finely chopped
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
    • 1 tbsp pepper powder
    • 1 tomato chopped
    • 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
    • 4 tbsp Ghee (depending on your preference)
    • 2 tbsp coconut oil (depending on your preference)
    • Salt to taste
  • Mutton Clear Soup Method-1

    1) Heat 2 tbsp coconut oil :Ghee in cooker. Roast whole spices (star anise, cinnamon stick, snauf, cumin seeds, cloves). Add 2 tbsp ginger-garlic chopped, stir fry for a minute.
    2) Add the chopped onions. Fry until light brown. Add turmeric powder and salt. Stir fry well 2-3 minutes.
    3) Add the Mutton. Stir fry well 2-3 minutes. Add 5 cup of water. Mix well. Pressure cook for 15-20 whistles. Serve the soup hot.
    4) You can add pepper powder if needed or garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
