Konkani Pancake | Musti Polo

Konkani Pancake / Musti Polo is a typical Konkani recipe.. This is just like set dosa cooked only one side. We can also flip the dosa and fry it one other side. Musti Polo (konkani Pancakes) is very soft and spongy dosa. You can also use this batter to make utthappams or aappo / paddus.

    • 1 + 1/2 cup dosa rice.
    • 1 cup urad dal ( skinless split black gram )
    • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
    • 2 fistful poha / beaten rice
    • Salt to taste
    • Coconut Oil / Ghee
  • Konkani Pancake | Musti Polo Method-1

    1) Soak rice ,dal and methi/fenugreek seeds in water for 5-6 hours.
    2) Wash poha and grind with dal and rice to a fine paste.
    3) Keep overnight for fermentation.
    4) Next day morning add salt and make thick dosa.
    5) Serve with chutney of your choice.
